Pinterest is image-based. Instag returns the original file (JPG, PNG, or WebP) without re-compression so quality is preserved bit-for-bit.

Quality on Pinterest matches the original upload. Instag never re-compresses; whatever the creator pushed is what you save.

Pinterest sometimes blocks hot-linked CDN URLs — direct copies of the image URL won't load in your browser. Instag attaches the right Referer header on the server side so the download succeeds even on hot-link-protected files.

Most Pinterest downloads are people saving content for personal offline viewing. Instag does not charge per download, does not require an account, and does not log what you saved.

Pinterest is image-board / gallery shaped. Each post is one or more images; Instag downloads the entire post in a single batch instead of forcing you to click each image.

Pinterest does not impose a daily limit on downloads through Instag. You can save as many items as you like, one URL at a time or in a batch from the same post.

Instag returns Pinterest images in the original format. iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux all open them natively — no converter step required.

Downloading from Pinterest through Instag is free. There's no credit card, no sign-up, and no per-download quota on the free tier. Premium (Pro) removes ads and adds batch downloads — neither is required for basic Pinterest saves.

Saving Pinterest content for personal use is generally fine; redistributing copyrighted material without permission is not. Instag does not own or license Pinterest content — you are responsible for how you use what you download.

Instag does not retain Pinterest URLs you submit, the files produced, or any account info. Downloads stream through and are discarded; there is no per-user history page because there is no history.

If a Pinterest download fails, double-check the URL is the exact public link (not a logged-in app deep-link). If the URL works in an incognito tab, Instag should handle it too.
