Livestream is video-first. Instag returns MP4 files that play in every modern player, browser, and mobile device without transcoding.

Livestream caps at 1080p Full-HD for most uploads. Instag pulls whichever the platform actually served — typically the same resolution you see playing on the site itself.

Livestream serves content as HLS streaming segments. Instag stitches the segments back into a single MP4 on the server side, so you get one clean file instead of a folder of .ts chunks.

Most Livestream downloads are people saving content for personal offline viewing. Instag does not charge per download, does not require an account, and does not log what you saved.

Livestream hosts live streams and VODs. Instag downloads the archived VOD; live in-progress streams aren't downloadable until the broadcaster finalises the recording.
